Carved In Blue: Cone Denim and Tencel Turn Trees lnto Textiles

Lenzing’s Carved In Blue tells stories about how their Tencel brand turns trees into textiles, recently focusing on our very own Cone denim. Tencel, a regenerated cellulosic fiber made from the wood pulp of  sustainable, responsibly farmed trees is not only incredibly soft, drapey, and comfortable, but environmentally conscious as well thanks to its closed-loop production cycle which produces virtually no harmful pollutants or wasteful byproducts. That’s why we’ve incorporated it into so many of our denim fabrications, from narrow width selvage denim styles that feel broken-in from the start, to being incorporated into our high-performance Drirelease intimate blends and Coolmax fabric constructions for enhanced moisture-wicking and superior comfort.
